Salary
Teachers at ICC make $1400 - $2000 per month, depending on their qualifications. Living costs can vary in China, depending on what you choose to do with your money, but in Guiyang they are around $500 - $700 per month. Whether you are trying to pay off college debts, or just trying to save a bit of money, this is a great opportunity!
Travel

We will buy a plane ticket for you, get your visa, help you find an apartment, and give you free Chinese lessons. Best of all, you get more than two months of vacation time to travel around Asia!
Qualifications

At ICC we believe that the makings of a good teacher are the love of children, the willingness to be open to new ways of approaching different situations, and the patience to try different methods with students who may not learn in the 'usual' way. While experience and a related degree are a bonus, they are not necessary.
Hours
​
Your specific hours will change depending on which classes you teach, and which days you are needed the most. However, you will only work 5 days per week, and at least one of your off days will be a weekend. You will never be asked to work more than 40 hours in a week. The typical work week for foreign teachers is 34 hours. You are guaranteed all Chinese National holidays off. You will also have extra time off for Chinese New Year and during part of the summer.
